Unlike conventional sink tidies that simply act as holding containers, Pavara takes it a step further. It hides its contents, providing a clean and clutter-free look when not in use. However, when needed, the sink tidy can be easily rotated, making all the contents easily accessible. The exterior of Pavara is finished in high gloss, adding a touch of elegance to any kitchen.
The interior of Pavara is made from durable ABS plastic, ensuring its longevity. The manufacturing method is similar to that of a general sink tidy, while the exterior is finished in a high gloss that complements modern kitchen aesthetics.
The Pavara sink tidy has a base diameter of 140mm and stands at a height of 308mm. It provides ample space to store a standard washing up liquid and hand soap bottle, as well as a bottle brush or sponge. The base is perforated, allowing excess water to drain away, keeping your sink area clean and dry.
Pavara's unique rotating function sets it apart from other sink tidies on the market. With a simple twist, all the contents become easily accessible, making dishwashing and kitchen cleanup a breeze. After use, the sink tidy can be rotated back to its original position, showcasing its sleek and glossy exterior.
The journey of creating Pavara began in November 2012 when Sunita Gill first conceived the idea. She started working on the concept in the Spring of 2013, experimenting with different prototypes. After overcoming challenges in material selection and creating the rotating mechanism, the final version of Pavara was signed off in the Summer of 2016.
Extensive research was conducted to ensure Pavara met the needs of users. Surveys were carried out to understand the current options for sink tidies and identify any gaps in the market. It became evident that there was a demand for a gloss sink tidy that could seamlessly blend into a modern kitchen.
Pavara has been recognized for its innovative design and practicality. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2017 in the Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware, and Cookware Design category. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements.
With Pavara, Sunita Gill has successfully created a sink tidy that combines functionality, style, and innovation. Say goodbye to cluttered sink areas and hello to a clean and organized kitchen.
